April 2026 I revisited Cafe Boston in Busshozan-cho, Takamatsu City, for lunch on Showa Day. The menu might have changed a little since my last visit. Today, I was torn between the "Grilled vegetables and chicken with addictive marmalade (1250 yen)" and the "Classic Indian Keema Curry," but I ultimately ordered the keema curry. The spiciness was mild enough for even children to enjoy, but the curry sauce had a complex and excellent flavor. My companion ordered the Monte Cristo, a bread that combines a ham and cheese sandwich with French toast, which also had an interesting taste. I visited Marugame Seimen Takamatsu Rainbow Street branch for lunch on my day off. I chose the classic Kake Udon (hot) large size and a side of kakiage (mixed vegetable tempura) with mitsuba (Japanese parsley) and small shrimp, plus freshly fried gurnard tempura.
