With the strawberry harvest season nearing its end, we headed to SkyFarm in Iida-cho, Takamatsu City, for some strawberry sweets.

They were also holding a strawberry picking event during the late season, and there was a large crowd gathered around the shop.

I ordered a strawberry paffe, and my partner ordered a strawberry smoothie. The total price of these two sweets was less than 1,000 yen. It's very reasonable. In an age where many large paffes cost over 2,000 yen, a delicious and reasonably sized paffe like this is very appealing.


A day of May

This is a review of the Iya Soba Lunch at Michi-no-Eki Nishiiya, located in the mountainous area of ​​Nishi-Iya, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture. I had imagined they would only serve regular and standard Iya soba, but they have debuted a menu item called "Iya NAMBAN," which is a marriage of traditional Iya soba and Keyman curry. Iya soba noodles topped with Keyman curry cooked by local residents. I tried it. The curry, with its effective hot peppers, and the dashi soup mixed with the Iya soba made for a delicious dish. It was an unexpected meeting in the countryside of Tokushima.

11th Jan. 2026 またまたたも屋さんでうどんらんち。この日はいつものかけ中（１．５玉）にトッピングのかき揚げに加えてとり天をいただきました。冬の寒い日には温かいかけうどんが身体に染みわたりますね。コスパ最高で、さぬきうどんの國に生まれてよかったと思える瞬間です。 15th Dec. 高知県安芸市東郊の薩摩屋さんにてシラス丼＆とんかつらんち。安芸市の名物シラス丼にとんかつを添えるという超贅沢な組み合わせに感動です。生醤油またはポン酢でいただくシラス丼はテッパンのお味。とんかつもジューシーで柔らかくてとってもexcellent。 14th Dec. 久しぶりに我が家の定番パン屋さん石窯パン工房パパベル高松店さんにてブレックファスト。久しぶりだったので、写真のような私好みの３点をチョイス。オニオンチーズとフランクドッグは焼き立てでほんのり温かで、３点ともコスパよしの、excellentでございます。 7th Dec. 丸亀市と坂出市と綾川町の境界付近にある「森のpizza Lodge」さんを初訪問。二人でトンナータ（ツナとアンチョビ）、サラーメ（トッピングがサラミ）をOrder。日曜日のLaunchTimeということもあり、Orderしてからfinish bakingまで、needed a bit time.トンナータのsalty test is Exquisite.サラーメもtomatoソースにパプリカの苦味がgood Accent.これは素晴らしいPizza restaurantにmeetできました。 お外で山羊を飼っていたので、記念撮影。 6th Dec. 庶民のわたくしにはお店の佇まいからハードルが高めのル　パン　ドゥ　アベスさんの高級パンにChallengeです。高松市のレインボー通りの宮脇書店南本店から少し東に入った場所にあります。建物は赤と緑で構成された特徴的な雰囲気。コストが高いですが、Colorfulなパン、旬素材を使ったパンなとなど見ていて飽きませんね。お味は当然excellentです。 15th Nov. 塩江ランの前に腹ごしらえ。高松市南郊塩江の老舗谷岡食堂さんでらんち。そろそろしっぽくうどんの季節ですが、やっぱり中華そば（ラーメン）をOrder。優しいお味の中華そばでございます。ちらし寿司もおでんも間違いないテッパンDelicious...

29 Dec. 2024 Since I was near Ise Shrine, I decided to have Ise udon. At the end of the year, all the parking lots around Ise Shrine were full, so I avoided the hustle and bustle and visited Amanoiwato Shrine and Sarutahiko Shrine. It was lunchtime, so I searched for the nearest Ise udon restaurant on Tabelog and found Ise Road Rest Area. There was a parking lot, so I chose it without hesitation. The menu was simple, and they also had Matsusaka beef bowl, but I stuck to my original plan and topped my Ise udon with grated yam! The Ise udon sauce and grated yam were thoroughly mixed together and it was excellent. The thick and soft udon was ``this is Ise udon!'' A day of Oct. After running around Nibukawa Hot Spring, I took a bath and had lunch at Nibukawa Seseragi Community Center. I found tonkatsu dam curry and ordered it without hesitation. 11th April 2025 There are lots of blueberry flowers in bloom. I wonder how this year's harvest will be. A lot of Lettuce seedlings are growing after becoming spring. Beautiful bright green seedings looks like decorated potted flowers. 5th April, 2026 Last year, my male kiwi plant died, so I bought another one. So my female kiwi plant is largely growing. 27th March, 2026 Kiwi fruits appear a lot of new leafs. 27th March, 2026  Spring comes, now.  There are lots of blueberry buds. Turnips and chives are growing in the spring sunshine. 21th March, 2026 Today's harvests are Radish, turnip, mizuna. Asparagus is growing very smoothly. I'm looking forward to harvesting them. It's important for them to water rich and regularly. I harvest small buroccories. 1st March, 2026 The asparagus is growing rapidly.
