水菜がお花をつけました。菜の花系らしく、小さな黄色いお花です。

Mizuna has put on flowers. It's a small yellow flower that looks like rape blossoms.

A day of Feb. 2024

水菜がそろそろ蕾を付け始めました。節分の恵方巻きで使った三つ葉の根を植え直したら、成長し始めました。レタスはこれ以上の成長は期待できないかも。

Mizuna is starting to put on buds. I replanted the mitsuba root that I used for Setsubun's ehomaki and it started to grow. Lettuce may not be expected to grow any further.

17th Feb.2024

春に向けてブロッコリーの種を撒きました。白く見えるのは肥料の糠です。

I sowed broccoli seeds for spring. What looks white is fertilizer bran.

水菜をレタスリーフでデコレートしてみました。

I decorated mizuna with lettuce leaves.

細ねぎを植え替えて、ぬかを撒いて栄養補給。

Replant the green onions and sprinkle rice bran on them to provide nutrients.

13th Jan. 2024

Mizunas are growing up in the cold winter. They look vivid green leafs. I crop and eat one of them sometime. It's suitable for salada, onabe etc.

３週間前に播種した水菜が順調に成長中。間引きした苗の一部は移植。大きくなるといいなぁ。３枚の写真のうち２枚は先週末、１枚は本日撮影です。
