RUNNING and CLIMBING, SIGHTSEEING 2026

I entered the half marathon division of the Kibiji Marathon on Sunday, February 22, 2026. I finished in the 2-2.5 hour range. Apparently, the opening ceremony and starting point were incredibly crowded, likely due to the Kuroda brothers from Aoyama Gakuin University being invited as guest runners (according to my partner). This was my first time participating, so I don't know what it was like the previous time, but even I, who arrived late at the starting point, felt the lingering effects of the crowds. I was extremely satisfied with the support from the roadside, the spacing of aid stations, the availability of local food, the baggage check-in process, and the number of restrooms. Above all, the clever idea of ​​not having to go through the entry process on the day was incredibly wonderful. I hope this trend spreads nationwide. And thank you to all the volunteers. The process leading up to the issuance of my completion certificate was also very smooth and great. The food provided after the finish line had a wide variety of local foods, which was great.

The talk show with the Kuroda brothers was packed with people.

The following are some requests to the organizers for future events.

The logistics from the parking lot to the starting point were terrible both on the way there and back. I parked in the riverside parking lot, but the bus never came so there was a huge line, and on the way back there was an even bigger line and I waited over 30 minutes (this was the time when I was heading back after watching the Kuroda brothers' talk show). Also, I heard the starting point was incredibly crowded. I think it would be better to slightly stagger the start times for the half marathon and the full marathon.

Also, there were few signs to the riverside parking lot, so I got lost.

そうじゃ吉備路マラソン　２０２６年２月２２日(日)のハーフの部にエントリー。２時間～２時間３０分レンジで完走しました。　今回は青山学院大学の黒田選手兄弟がゲストランナーに招待されていたためか、開会式とスタート地点が超絶混雑していたそうです（パートナー談）。初出場なので前回までの様子がわかりませんが、遅れてスタート地点に到達したわたしも混雑の余韻を感じました。　沿道の応援やエイドの間隔・地元フードの提供、手荷物預かりの手続き・流れ、トイレの数などは超満足です。なによりも当日のエントリー手続きがないという工夫は超絶最高です。この流れが全国に広がることを祈ります。そして、ボランティアのみなさま、ありがとうございました。また、完走証発行までの流れもとてもスムーズで、よかったです。ゴール後の食事提供は種類が豊富でローカルフードもたくさんあってよかったです。

以下、主催者さまへの次回以降の要望です。

駐車場からスタート地点までのロジが往復ともに最悪でした。河川敷駐車場に止めましたが、バスが来ないで大行列、帰りはもっと大行列で３０分以上待ちました（黒田選手兄弟のトークショーを見てから帰る時間帯です）。あと、スタート地点の混雑がすごかったらしい。ハーフとフルのスタート時間を少しずらした方がよいような気がします。

あと、河川敷駐車場への案内が少なかったので、道に迷いました。

Since the strongest cold wave in this season come, It's very cold today and wind is very strong. But I tried to run along coast side of Takamatsu City. I run nearby Anabuki Arena, wellknown Red Lighthouse, and coast side path.

 I create the App which draw three concentric circles at an opptional point(longitude and latitude) on the Japan Geospacial Institute's map. You can setting up the center of circles by clicking apoint on the map or inputing a coordinates(longitude and latitude) and the radiuses values of the each circle on the App.
